Applying to WPI
You may apply to WPI using the Common Application, the Universal Application, or our customized WPI application. We accept both on-line and paper versions of each. (Note, we don't have a supplement for the Common Application.) We don't have a preference for which application you use, but please only submit one application.

Before choosing your application method below, please read a complete version of our admission requirements and application instructions.
Current Applicants
If you applied to WPI directly through the WPI web site you can use the Login ID and PIN you created to view your application status.
If you applied with a WPI, Common, or Universal paper application, or with an on-line Common or Universal Application, you will receive a Login ID and PIN in your application acknowledgement letter. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your letter to arrive.

Once you submit an application, the process doesn't end there - we still need you to send us the following items by mail in order to complete your application.
- Recommendation from Secondary School Counselor and Transcript Request Form (PDF)
- Mid-year Transcript Form (PDF)
- Recommendation from Mathematics/Science Faculty (PDF)
- Personal Statement/Essay
- Standardized Test Scores
- Flex Path supplement form (PDF)
- Home school applicant supplement form (PDF)
- Certification of standing form (transfer candidates only) (PDF)
- Mid-semester grade form (transfer candidates only) (PDF)
- $60 application fee (WPI endorses the fee waiver policy of the College Entrance Examination Board, as well as accepts fee waivers from high school guidance or college counselors)
