WPI Experiential Tour

Welcome to WPI, a small, independent university centered on engineering, science, technology and mathematics, with strong academic programs in the arts and humanities and management. The university places a high premium on excellence in undergraduate education, with rich student/ faculty interaction and a unique approach to active, collaborative learning through a project-based curriculum. Each WPI undergraduate must complete three major projects, the most distinctive of which addresses an identified need or problem at the intersection of technology and society. Students complete the projects at one of 20 project centers around the world. The result is a broad education that prepares students for leadership and innovation in any field.

The virtual tour is presented through the eyes of five current WPI students, giving you the unique perspective of what it’s really like to be a student at WPI. What’s the course load like? Where do people hang out? What’s there to do in Worcester?

While nothing can replace a personal visit to campus, our virtual tour will provide you with a thorough introduction to the active, collaborative project-based curriculum, our faculty, our beautiful 80-acre campus and life on campus – from music and theater to sports and more.
