Our Students
WPI students are, well, different. If you've seen one, you've seen...one. Generalities are tough to make, but it's fair to say that our students are bright. And they're good at math and science. And they feel a deep pride in this place. But they also tend to be quirky and unpredictable. You won't find dumb jocks here. But you will find terrific athletes. And hard workers. You'll meet talented dancers. And musicians. And actors. And inventors. Our students tend to be curious about how things work. And why. It's okay to be smart here. And independent. And fun-loving. The best way to find out what our students are like is to ask them (they're not shy about expressing their opinions). Or talk with the faculty about our students (ditto).
