Work-study
Federal work-study grants are sometimes offered as part of a student's financial aid package. This grant offers students part-time employment during the academic year to help pay for college expenses. In addition to helping to ease the financial burden of college, students can gain valuable job experience through work-study. There are many different kinds of work-study jobs from clerical work to tutoring to staffing the computer help desk. Jobs are offered both on campus and in the community. Work-study grants must be renewed each academic year.
