Individually Designed Programs
Students with specific career goals, or with unique individual objectives, who feel that their goals would be better met by a program of study not officially offered by WPI, may propose a major designed to meet their individual academic needs.
Students wishing to pursue an individually-designed program should first discuss their ideas with an academic advisor. The student should then consult with Professors Richard Vaz or Paul Davis in the IGSD office, who will determine with the assistance of other members of the faculty, if the proposed program is feasible, and, if it is, arrange for its evaluation.
