Early Round Phonathon Phone Script

"Hello, my name is _____________________. May I please speak with (student's name)? I'm an alumnus of WPI. I just wanted to personally congratulate you on your acceptance to WPI. I thought you might like to hear a little about WPI from an alumnus' point‑of‑view."

"Have you been up to visit the WPI campus?"

Opening to talk about appearance of campus, sense of community or their impressions of WPI.

"What are you interested in studying?"

Opening to talk about individual programs or what you have experienced or heard about the job placement and career opportunities of our graduates.

"WPI was an excellent choice for me. It offered small classes and a lot of student/faculty interaction. I had a great experience, including the opportunity to (special travel, co‑op, project opportunities or special faculty relationship). And as an alum, I've been most pleased with __________. I'd recommend WPI to anyone."
